By day, Lauren Kotmel is a Development and Community Relations professional working and living in Downtown Cleveland. Hailing from a strong museum and arts background, Lauren has worked for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., The Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum. Though she has lived in several parts of the world, including Germany, Lauren adores Cleveland and is passionate about helping people discover our city.
By night, Lauren is a co-founder and Executive Board Member of the Cleveland Museum of Art’s YP group, Column and Stripe, and serves on the Womens Council at the Cleveland Museum of Art. She also participates in several volunteer and leadership capacities for Cleveland International Film Festival, TEDxCLE, SPACES Art Gallery, historic St. Paul’s Shrine, and more.
Lauren has a strong interest in local music, anything German, the West Side Market, and can usually be found wandering around 78th Street Studios, expanding her art collection.
